A mat and bag set often costs less than buying the two separately. Here is how to judge whether the bundle is worth it and which set fits your practice.
Quick answer
If you need a mat and a bag at the same time, a set is usually the cheaper route: the Veganika Night set and the Psychobella set each list at USD 112.85–122.10 against a USD 185.00 comparison price, while the same Veganika Night mat alone lists at USD 78.10. Buy the set when you want one coordinated purchase; buy the mat alone and add the FOLD & PACK bag separately only if you already own a bag or plan to travel with a thinner mat.
What the set price actually includes
A mat-and-bag set bundles two items that are normally sold separately, and the saving comes from the bundle price rather than from a discount code. The Veganika Night set and the Psychobella set both carry a USD 185.00 comparison price but list lower, which is the clearest signal that the pairing is the value option. Check what the bag is designed to hold before assuming any set fits your mat: a bag sized for a travel mat will not comfortably take a thicker studio mat, and the product pages do not list bag dimensions, so treat that as a decision limitation and ask before ordering if size is critical.
How to compare a set against buying separately
Add up the two items you would otherwise buy and compare that total with the set price. If you want the Veganika Night mat, the stand-alone mat lists at USD 78.10; adding the FOLD & PACK travel bag at USD 30.60 brings the pair to roughly USD 108.70, which is close to the Psychobella set price and below the Veganika Night set price. That comparison only works if the bag suits your mat and your practice — a bag you will not carry is not a saving.
- Choose the set when you want the mat and bag in one order and the set price is below the two items bought separately.
- Choose separate items when you already own a bag, or when you want a specific mat and a specific bag that are not sold together.
- Check the comparison price against the current list price rather than assuming the bundle is always the lowest option.
Design and material differences that affect the choice
The two sets are not interchangeable in style or story. The Veganika Night set and the stand-alone Veganika Night mat share a plant-inspired theme, while the Psychobella set uses a natural rubber mat with a symmetrical mushroom graphic and a unisex design. Material matters more than print for daily use: natural rubber mats are the common thread here, and the catalog does not state thickness or grip ratings, so if you need a specific thickness for knee comfort or a specific texture for hot practice, confirm those details before buying.
When the travel bag changes the math
The FOLD & PACK travel bag is built for practitioners who move around, protecting a mat from dust, dirt and moisture and making it easier to carry. If your mat mostly stays at home, a bag adds little and the set premium may not pay off. If you commute to a studio, travel, or carry a mat between rooms, the bag earns its place and the set becomes the more practical purchase.
Decision rules for choosing a mat and bag set
- Rule 1: Buy the set if you need both items now: Compare the set price with the cost of the mat plus a bag. The Psychobella set at USD 112.85 is the lowest-cost way to get a natural rubber mat and bag together. Set wins when both items are on your list.
- Rule 2: Buy the mat alone if you already own a bag: The Veganika Night mat alone lists at USD 78.10, so paying a set price for a second bag only makes sense if you want a spare or a different size. Skip the bundle when the bag is redundant.
- Rule 3: Let your practice location decide: Studio commuters and travellers get more from the FOLD & PACK bag and the sets. Home-only practitioners can put the bag money toward the mat instead. Carry it often, or buy the mat only.
- Rule 4: Confirm fit before ordering: Bag dimensions and mat thickness are not listed in the catalog. If your mat is thicker than a standard travel mat, ask whether the set bag will hold it. Unverified fit is the main reason a set gets returned.
Product facts to compare
- Yoga mat and yoga mat bag set - VEGANIKA NIGHT: Yoga mat and yoga mat bag set - VEGANIKA NIGHT lists at USD 122.10 with a USD 185.00 comparison price, and the catalog notes a saving of up to 20 EUR when buying a set. This is the higher-priced set, so it makes sense when the plant-inspired design is the reason you are buying and you want the bag included.
- Yoga mat and yoga mat bag set - PSYCHOBELLA: Yoga mat and yoga mat bag set - PSYCHOBELLA lists at USD 112.85 with a USD 185.00 comparison price, and its natural rubber mat has a unisex symmetrical mushroom design. The lower set price and unisex graphic make this the easier default if two people share the mat or if you want the bundle at the lowest cost.
- Yoga mat VEGANIKA NIGHT - natural rubber, non-slip, eco-friendly studio gym, pilates and yoga mat: Yoga mat VEGANIKA NIGHT - natural rubber, non-slip, eco-friendly studio gym, pilates and yoga mat lists at USD 78.10 with a USD 110.00 comparison price. Use this as the baseline when comparing a set with buying the mat alone and adding a bag separately.
- Travel yoga mat bag FOLD & PACK: Travel yoga mat bag FOLD & PACK lists at USD 30.60 with a USD 45.00 comparison price and is designed to protect a travel mat from dust, dirt and moisture. This is the bag to price against a set if you already own a mat or prefer to choose the bag yourself.
